What Is & Why
Melt and pour soap

Alcohol Free Melt And Pour Soap

Melt and Pour soap is also known as cast soap. Transparent glycerine soaps are usually manufactured by the cast method, whereby clear soap solution  in presence of polyols, solvent ( ethanol) and clarify agents is poured into frames or moulds. The solid soap is placed into a well ventilated room for weeks to allow evaporation of water and alcohol ( ethanol) and to mature into transparent bar.

There are many disadvantages in the cast method such as:

1. Use of corrosive strong alkali and flammable alcohol

2. Prolong setting and maturation period Soap maker can overcome the disadvantages  by using ready to made melt & pour soap base.

Our melt & pour transparent soap base allows soap makers to open up existing and new opportunities in various niche market segments such as facial bars, luxury soaps, skin care bars and prestigious gifts.
